Hundreds of spectators flocked trackside for the second running of Albany’s Bluff Knoll slot race on Sunday, won by local star Rope Them In. The $400,000 Wellington and Reeves Bluff Knoll (1099m) is regional WA’s richest race and punters enjoyed the action on and off the track. A strong crowd lined the grass to witness the feature race as successful slot owner SJ Wolfe Racing celebrated Bluff Knoll joy with the Steve Wolfe-trained Rope Them In that was ridden expertly by Shaun McGruddy. Live music was provided by Grant Hart during the event with lots of families soaking up the racing atmosphere.
