Seven West Media WA releases Flashpoint special for the WA communications industry

Seven West Media WA (SWM WA) have released a special episode of its local current affairs program, Flashpoint, for the Perth communications industry. The episode titled FLASHPOINT PRESENTS COMMUNICATIONS, COVID-19 & LOOKING FORWARD discusses how the WA market coped with the COVID-19 pandemic and what’s in store as the industry recovers.

Filmed on site at Seven Perth’s studios in Osborne Park, and hosted by 7NEWS presenter Tim McMillan, the expert discussion panel includes a diverse cross-section of the market including General Manager of Carat, Michelle Testa, The West Australian’s Assistant Editor, Jenna Clarke, West Australian Ballet’s Director of Marketing, Suzanne Beecroft, and Seven West Media WA’s Chief Advertising Officer for Print and Digital, Nathan Cave.

Seven West Media’s Digital Sales Director, Brent Stewart, also hit the road to interview some of the industry’s most notable personalities to see their working-from-home set ups including Longreach Media’s Luke Driscoll, Initiative’s Alicia Campbell and Natalie Salinovich, OMD’s Kevin Rapose, Rare’s Simon Stewart and Carat’s Joseph Purdy.

SWM WA’s Chief Marketing Officer Kate Molinari said “Our industry has faced a unique and challenging first half of 2020, as clients, agencies and the media have all been impacted differently by COVID-19. We wanted to find a way to unite the market, highlight what we have been through, and bring some success stories to the forefront using one our most integrated assets, Flashpoint.”

Regular episodes of Flashpoint air Monday nights on Channel 7 and is a collaboration of 7NEWS and The West Australian.
