Shire of Waroona puts inflatable fun into recreation centre

A regional shire is hosting a morning of fun for young people next week.
The Shire of Waroona has inflatable fun coming to the Waroona Recreation Centre on April 15 so young people can celebrate Youth Week 2025.
The yearly event supported by the Department of Communities has more than 100 events taking place across the State for people under the age of 25.
This year the shire is setting up a giant inflatable obstacle course inside the recreation centre, along with lawn games and an inflatable area for gladiatorial combat.
Waroona shire president Mike Walmsley said he is looking forward to what this year’s Youth Week events bring.
“We’re fully supporting of all the programs that the community development team has put together for Youth Week, and we’re looking forward to having some really good patronage,” he said.
“It’s great to have youth involved in these activities, and Youth week is always a highlight of the calendar, we all look forward to it.”
The free events run from 10am to 12pm with morning snacks and refreshments provided.
