Lotto: West Aussies take home slice of Powerball draw with $182k division two win

One West Aussie has bagged a significant haul after taking a chance on Thursday’s $10 million Powerball draw.

The fortunate player is among a pair of division two winners who will pocket more than $182,000 each.

An additional 30 players from across the nation scored division three prizes worth $15,090.50.

No division one winners will see next week’s Powerball jackpot to a staggering $20 million.

The winning numbers for draw #1505 are 9, 2, 17, 32, 1, 18 and 16. The Powerball is 1.

Luck comes after a woman from Perth’s northern suburbs became an overnight millionaire when she claimed a division one win in Saturday Lotto.

The woman in her 50s said it was by chance that she purchased the ticket.

“The last time I bought a Lotto ticket my children were babies and now they’re all grown up,” she said.

“I saw online that a ticket sold in Malaga had won and thought I better check my numbers.
