Manjimup police are calling for information about a theft at St Vinnies at the weekend.

Volunteers at St Vinnies were shocked to find on Monday that someone had broken in between Saturday afternoon and Monday morning to steal items and vouchers used to help people in need of welfare.

The stolen items included fuel and food vouchers for people in need and the cash box.

St Vinnies manager Brenda Courtenay-Clack asked petrol stations and the community to be on the lookout for people using fuel vouchers.

“It was a planned job, because the CCTV cameras from outside were stolen the day before,” she said.

She said if people were in need they should see the team instead.
