Festival offers free movies in Nannup

Nannup is hosting a series of free community screenings this month as part of the Cinefest OZ program.

From 10am to 4pm at the Nannup Town Hall on August 24-27, several Australian films will be screened throughout the day.

The films to be shown are Satellite Boy, The Boys are Back, Looking for Grace, Cinesnaps Short Film Finalist films, Red Dog, Red Dog: True Blue and Paper Planes.

Movie ratings range from G to M, so there is something for film buffs of many varieties.

There are 37 venues from Bunbury to Augusta hosting a range of diverse film experiences for Cinefest OZ , with more than 95 film and events on offer.

The festival will include seven world premieres, nine Australian premieres and 35 WA premieres – and a host of special guests including Ben Elton, Ewen Leslie and Myles Pollard.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the film festival, which will take place across the South West from August 23 to 27.
