Among the winners at the 2021 WA Harness Awards was talented locally-owned youngster, Floewriter, who claimed the title of Two-Year-Old Colt or Gelding of the Year.

The award ceremony was held at Crown Resorts Perth on February 2 and was attended by about 150 people from all over WA.

Born in Australia in 2018, Floewriter has been trained by Aiden De Campo at Capel.

He is also owned by a syndicate including long-time Pemberton harness racing enthusiasts Peter Bendotti and David Radomiljac.

Floewriter has achieved six wins and two places from his 14 starts.

He also achieved an inspiring performance in the Group 1 C&G Sales Classic.

“You can wait a long time for a horse like Floewriter, but it is worth the wait when they do come along and there is great enjoyment in seeing all the local support he receives when he races,” Radomiljac said.

Floewriter did not disappoint at Donaldson Park in Bunbury on February 5 when he won the Banana Feeds Australia MS Pace.
