Recognition for community efforts

Manjimup Family Centre’s Dellys Sice has been recognised at State level by winning a 2018 Community Services Excellence Award.

Mrs Sice won the Above and Beyond award for her tireless community and leadership work with the Manjimup Family Centre and within the community.

Mrs Sice joined the centre board in late 2012.

Her achievements included being part of a project team to develop a mobile support service for families with autism spectrum disorders and leading a review of the centre’s governance structures.

Mrs Sice also runs her own volunteer counselling service, helping people with relationship issues and experiencing grief and loss.
