Rory Lowe to bring Beast comedy tour to Gatsbys Skyline
Rory Lowe is coming down to Manjimup this Saturday as a part of his current comedy tour.
The UK-born and Australian-raised comedian will be bringing his comedy tour Beast to Gatsbys Skyline on July 29, being known for his onstage act and his humour relating to topics such as partying, relationship and his personal life.
He said those attending can expect a night of chaos with his stand-up act.
“It’s definitely a good laugh for people watching, things get pretty wild, and I tend to do crowd interactions, so the audience are in for a treat.”
“Most stories I tell are about Australia and my personal experiences in Australia.”
Mr Lowe said the tour had been going smoothly, with sold-out tour dates and great reception from audience members.
“It’s been really good, we’ve done three shows and sold out half the tour already,” he said.
“I got to travel around Queensland and Victoria, and the audience is really enjoying it, so it’s been great.”
Although he has not travelled to the South West for his previous comedy tours, he said he’s excited to do some sightseeing and to play to the Manjimup crowd, having heard about their engagement with previous comedians.
“I’ve heard it’s beautiful and there are so many things to see in the area.”
“Speaking to other comedians, they’ve said the crowds are all great and I’m excited to see how they are.”
He warns that his jokes may offend some, but are also light-hearted and not to be taken seriously, and encourages everyone to come to watch.
“There might be a few jokes that might be offensive to some, but I encourage everyone to come down if they want to.”
Tickets for the upcoming comedy show are available through Humantix.
