Winger Semi Radradra has been suspended from Fiji's last European rugby tour matches against Spain and Ireland for his 20-minute red card against Wales.

An independent disciplinary panel made the ruling after a video hearing on Tuesday.

The former Parramatta Eels flyer was cited for his shoulder-leading tackle to the head of Wales fullback Cameron Winnett on Sunday. Radradra's first-half yellow card was upgraded to red by the bunker.

Despite his dismissal, Fiji earned their first win against Wales in Cardiff, 24-19.

The panel's sanction started at six games and was cut in half because of Radradra's disciplinary record and remorse.

"The Disciplinary Committee determined that the mid-range entry point of six weeks was appropriate with the full 50 per cent mitigation applied, based on a clean disciplinary record and having shown remorse, reducing the sanction to three weeks," Six Nations Rugby said in a statement.

The 32-year-old, capped 21 times, will miss Fiji's match against Spain in Valladolid this weekend and Ireland in Dublin next week. He will be allowed to play the third game, for his Lyon club, if he attends World Rugby's tackle school.
