VideoSt Kilda coach Ross Lyon has spoken exclusively to 7NEWS, and says the club is going to attack the trade market hard.

West Coast will welcome back teen sensation Harley Reid in a pre-season hit-out against North Melbourne in Bunbury on Saturday.

The 19-year-old did not feature in the club’s match simulation clash with Richmond last week as he continued his recovery from low leg issues over the summer.

It comes as Kangaroos recruit Jack Darling has also been named to take on his former side after being traded from the Eagles over the off-season.

Reid has been declared ready to go and named to start out in the middle for their pre-season clash at Hands Oval, where ruckman Matt Flynn is also set to play after missing last week’s intraclub match.

Flynn will start with Bailey Williams on the bench, suggesting he has edged him out in the battle for the No.1 ruck spot if he can get through unscathed.

Liam Duggan will be the sole captain with Oscar Allen unavailable due to a family wedding giving Archer Reid his opportunity at full forward having caught the eye this pre-season.

Young gun Elijah Hewett will miss with the Eagles managing him through general soreness.

Defensive duo Jeremy McGovern and Harry Edwards will team up to lock down Darling and North spearhead Nick Larkey, following Tom Barrass’ trade to Hawthorn over the off-season.

Top draft pick Bo Allan has been named on the bench as he continues his push for a round-one debut while Lucca Grego also earns a spot in the 26-man squad.

It sees Jack Petruccelle relegated to the emergencies with the fringe Eagle facing a tough fight to work his way back into the best 23.

The sell-out clash will be the first time since the 1991 pre-season match against Adelaide that the Eagles have played in Bunbury.

Bouncedown will be at 3.10pm on Saturday.
